Exploring Tech-inequality (2022)

Check your technoprivilege

Designed and executed an interactive experience to raise awareness of technology privilege, presented the project at Dutch Design Week ‘22, and engaged in conversations on technology access and inequality.


The advancement of technology impacts everyone, whether or not we have the ability to navigate it. Unfortunately, much of the discourse around technology rarely considers the unequal distribution of tech access, leaving many voices unheard.

As a part of the Check Your Technoprivilege project at Next Nature Network, I designed an app to help people evaluate their own technoprivilege. My role involved designing an intuitive and engaging experience that allowed users to reflect on how technology impacts their lives.


OUTCOMEThe aim was to raise awareness, amplify diverse voices, and spark action toward overcoming technology inequalities. The project was also exhibited at the Dutch Design Week ’22 where 100+ people engaged with the app and the exhibit.
